As a lonely bachelor, Mrs. Fish helped me find a feline overlord to rule my house, until she moved in with her own cat after we married.

My wife moved her cat into my apartment when we were dating, because she was there more than at her place. I forgot to tell her that she had named the cat the same name as my mother until we brought the cat over to my parents’ place for a visit.

I survived, but it was a near thing.
