Europe could be in for a rough winter and a bumpy economic ride, but in the end, Putin will be the loser when Europe redoubles its efforts to lessen its dependence on imported sources of energy and demand diminishes.

I am sure that Putin will be able to find other customers, but none as close or lucrative as the established system as it exists Western and Central Europe.
