And his ideal of a “pan-European” coalition to fight against the Threat From The East reminds me of nothing so much as the German invasion of the Soviet Union, as the Germans brought troops from several other nations to call it a “coalition against Communism”. He should reflect on that, because that invasion did not end well from Germany.
