Is there any legal restriction on those convicted of multiple DUI’s or street racing buying really fast cars? I have never been charged with any kind of weapon/gun crime. I have good credentials-Clean record, credentialed safety and handling instructor. I still gotta wait to pick up a new gun more than a week to ensure a B/G check that takes a few seconds happens.

If I or a shooting range or a gun store effs up, we too can be sued out of existence financially just the same as a bad doctor. Who has a harder time with the average jury? A doctor or a shooting range?

No but we do prohibit people with multiple DUIs from having licenses. I am saying that I have a problem equating medical misdiagnosis with gun violence which is what is being done to the prospective surgeon general.
