Want to make the Democratic Party a better place? Then jump in with both feet and work for changes. Want to be just a whiny dabbler who uses the party when it suits him? Then maintain your precious Independent status.

What do you think Bernie is trying to do? He’s not running for President again. He’s still part of the 49 that Democrats count in the Senate. Or would you rather he caucused with the GOP and stopped trying to make the Democratic Party a better place even though he’s technically (on paper) an independent? Why is that label so fucking important to everyone?

I mean, if Trump came out and said he was for a ban on fracking would you be against it because he’s a racist asshole? Can’t agree with him! No sir!
