The term originated as a slur in the UK in reference to Pakistani immigrants. Over there, they really don’t like it.

I don’t like seeing it used because it would be like somebody in England using N—-, not having the same cultural associations. That wouldn’t be okay, and this isn’t either.

OK, I’ll call it out. There are 3 people here (that I recall) who use it. Their prediculations are quite clear.
