Right now, the statue is in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort.
My guess is that it will be moved to the Jefferson Davis Monument State Historic Site (a state park) in Fairview, where he was born. That part of the state was part of the self-proclaimed shadow Kentucky government that joined the Confederacy after Kentucky officially sided with the Union.

Would it be appropriate to send the head to Mississippi?
