I saw this earlier today. Thought about deleting my FB for good (of which I use an alias). But they’re TOO BIG! That would mean shutting out hundreds of my friends, family, etc. that don’t use any other social media. The fucking bastards!

Other social media which existed before Facebook and still does:

Telephones
Letters
Telegrams

There is also Skype and similar services, along with E-mail.

I have no trouble keeping in contact with family and friends. If you actually sit down to write a letter, chances are you don’t get into “oversharing mode” either.

With no social media accounts (other than something like LGF), everyone who I want to know about my trip and how it’s going either already does (E-mail) or will soon (letters).
