Jews don’t have to believe in God to be Jews; and the ones who do believe in God, don’t have to believe that God is an anthropomorphic being. We’re more of a “doing” than a “believing” faith.
Most Reconstructionist Jews (and a substantial number of Reform) are all about the cultural heritage and ethical structure, with ritual observance mostly a means to build community — even some of the Rabbis refuse to assert positively that there is such a thing as God.
Sounds like the Jewish version of UU.
