Potentially big news breaking in Israel. Yair Lapid, head of Yesh Atid (translation: There Is a Future), the largest opposition party in the current government, has made a major statement at the Herzliya national security conference:
@YairLapid1 at #HC14: “If there will be an attempt to annex one settlement, we will not only leave the government, we will go against it.”— Herzliya Conference (@HerzliyaConf) June 8, 2014
@YairLapid1:”We can change history but not geography, there is no reason to build #settlements in areas that will not be part of #Israel”— Herzliya Conference (@HerzliyaConf) June 8, 2014
