Honest to god, in my wildest imagination, I could not have dreamed the first 2 month would be such a colossal, continuous clusterfuck. Trump et al. have not only lived down to every single bad thing I ever thought about them, they’ve exceeded it in every way.

Remember when John Oliver was talking about thinking you’d hit rock bottom last week, but this week, if you look wa-a-ay up there, where you can just barely see it? THAT’S where you were THEN, compared to where we are NOW.

I seriously believe that keeps us from being ruled by moustache-curling Snidely Whiplash-level villains is the fact that they’re Three Stooges-level incompetents.
