As this is all speculation, the external fuel tanks (on the fenders) could be an easy target. Open the filler cap and “poof”. Once diesel starts it doesn’t go out easily. Depends on the level of access the person/persons had, if it is a deliberate act and not an accident.

That works if the MBTs are unmanned. The fuel system does have cutoffs to seal off external tanks if they catch fire. If anyone is in the tank that crewman will activate the cutoff, but if no one is in the tank the tactic might work.
