States rights are fine but not when they get in the way of human rights. or things that impact the nation as a whole. That is I don’t want to hear about states rights when it comes to owning people or having labor rights laws that resemble something out of the Gilded Age. Or fucking with education because your state legislature is filled with people who think Moses is more important than George Washington.
