Bostian said he has no recollection after leaving the NE station, so a hit could have occurred almost after the train left, picking up speed. If he blacked out and fell on the throttle, it would have picked up excess speed almost immediately. He recovered to pull the brake, but it was too late at the speed the train was going. Unfortunately, I can’t find the distance between the 30th St station and that curve in an industrial area.

Anyone else know?
