Because of my heart, I’ve led a pretty sedentary life. I’m clumsy, not good with my hands, and consider it a major accomplishment if I go to a party and don’t wind up floating in the punchbowl. And I think it is because I have never done some of the little things that others have.

If I could make it through the basic training/physical aspects, I’d like to have served somehow. I think that it would have been good for me.
