Once you get 2 screens you’ll never go back to a single screen system. It’s absolutely awesome for doing any kind of multitasking, but image editing and document processing in particular. Or, you can watch movies on one screen and do work on the other.

You should see setups wall street traders have, 3 monitors minimum, some have twice as many. Having different monitors paired is very annoying tho, so I wouldn’t bet that someone using 22” flat panel paired with a 17” crt isn’t going to go back (or forward in this case) to a single monitor setup.
