Missing from the press coverage of that anti-Muslim bigotfest in Phoenix the other day is any mention of the winner of the cartoon contest, and whether they used Crayola brand crayons or a cheap knock-off.

I think I remember “thistle” from the olden days, but all those compound names must be after my time. I do remember “raw umber” though—I don’t know why they’d discontinue that. And no “Breen”? I remember when Kelly Bundy invented that.
