Sorry, not going to get into a semantics battle with you. Pointless. That is how they saw themselves. How *you* see them is immaterial. It was *their* motivation that mattered on that day. They saw themselves as soldiers for Allah.

And you defend them along with others who would defend them. How do you feel about bus bombers, one wonders. Brave but unguided “soldiers” for Allah, I suppose.
