Let me tell you about my aggravating day…

Had to drive to Richmond, VA… 3 hours. Precisely halfway there… got a call from the boss’ assistant telling to turn around and go home. I need to be home all week for stuff back there.

I was the most pissed ‘cause he didn’t have the guts to call me and had his minion do it for him.

Minion was talking back and forth with the boss while he was talking to me.

Boss could’ve called me.

Prick.

BUT, I’M NOT BITTER!

I had my own irritation. Got downtown on my way to an interview, got on the Blue Line with enough time to get to the Forest Park end of the line and catch a bus. The CTA had trains on both tracks at Forest Park, forcing the train I was on to wait for one of them to clear. Result: I got to watch the bus I needed pull out of the station without me and then had to pay $25 dollars for a cab to make my interview. But I aced the interview. Not sure yet about the position. It’s not what I’d ideally like, but unlike that offer last month the owner was very honest and upfront. That leads me to be better disposed towards him and his company.
