I am honestly baffled, dude. I live in the Central Valley of California. Full of farm land, and thus, full of immigrant farm laborers.

But all the good, authentic taquerias have either sold to crappier ones, or have become pet stores or something.

When I lived in the bay area, I could throw a rock from my house and hit at least three bad-ass taquerias in a single toss.

I’ve started making my own asada tacos at home, it’s gotten that bad. Most of the reasonably priced Mexican joints in my area are like Denny’s doing mexican food. Good, but this guerro can do better.
