I know little about that so it would be wrong for me to have an opinion. I would say leave it to them to decide.

As for double jeopardy, I agree if one is acting on an issue (court case), the other should not. That’s two bites at the apple and that doesn’t seem right to me.

THat only works if PR is a separate entity. One can be tried for the same crime in the US and in -let’s say, France.

Two bites out of the same apple within the same jurisdiction —is double jeopardy.
