After they all spent significant time essentially breathing the same same air and handling the same utensils. It is reasonable to assume that the vast majority were exposed.

(We don’t know how long it was spreading in China, or how extensive those “draconian measures” really are, only what the Chinese government tells us.)

I’m out of here for a while. Feel free to keep scaring yourselves to death while I’m gone.

Nobody here is in a panic. Nobody is throwing around conspiracy nonsense. We do know this thing is dangerous, it is easily transmitted and that the CDC has warned that significant disruption to daily life should be expected. That means school shutdowns etc.

Fear is reasonable. Panic is not. Use fear to get yourself ready if you have to deal with a quarantine or school and work closure.

Japan just declared a nationwide state of emergency and closed ALL schools for a month. Do we think we are somehow immune?
