It’s very important to do so. We must spend money we don’t have in order to fix the economy because people spent money they didn’t have. I hope I explained it to where it is understandable. Now I’m confused.

When you decide it’s OK to spend one dollar more than you have, without a clear plan for catch-up, the end point is disaster. Once the (people running the) government adopts the notion that it’s ok to spend money for anything but goods and services it needs to do its business, the same end point is locked in. What the hell ever happened to responsibility?
