Well, it is one day away from him tearing up with the Pope’s speech before Congress yesterday. Plenty time to forget any context of the speech and to stiffen up your emotions after a half fifth of Scotch so you can go back to being a total bastard.

Heh. I wrote this as I was coming down the comments from earlier and had yet to see that Johnny is resigning.

MSNBC is covering the Pope’s speech to the UN, but they are watching for Boehner to address the media shortly.

It will interesting to hear if Boehner will give the real reasons he is getting out, ot if he will take a bullet for the Tea Party and say he is doing for the benefit of the party, blah, blah.
