Yeah, I noticed that. He wasn’t convincing at all. People who were there don’t need fucking NOTES to remember what it was like—it was burned into their memories forever. Also, when people recall something that awful & traumatic they tend to get that thousand yard stare when mentally reliving it. He didn’t, he just kept reading.

Trump is a lying scumbag and I despise him even more than before (something I didn’t think possible) for using 9/11 like that. If he’d been there, there would’ve been reports, photos, film footage, something—the egotistical prick would’ve made sure of that.
