Saw The Who the other day. 50th anniversary tour. Glad I saw them, but yeah, they’re old.

Roger’s voice is shot, but the music itself was as good as ever. He can perform, but can’t sing, if you know what I mean. Pete can still rock a mean guitar. They had Zak Starkey on drums, who learned how to play drums from Keith (and also happens to be Ringo Starr’s son). Pete’s brother Simon was also playing with them, so it was a family affair.

They also told a bunch of anecdotes about touring, life, etc., and Pete joked that most everyone in the audience wasn’t even alive when the band started touring (myself included), and the few folks who were old enough to remember got the reminder that EMTs are standing by; oxygen is available, and that includes for the band.
