I would go to the range with my brothers when we were kids and we’d try to hit the cart. It would be decades before I ever played golf for real, but I was such a slicer that I thought if I could just hit the ball hard enough it will come back to me. It was actually pretty awesome The ball would start straight, and then suddenly zoom dead right and it would go farther to the right then it would down the intended line. I don’t do that so much anymore, but I have still lost every golf ball I ever owned. They’re doomed from the moment I get ‘em.

I slice every time except when I line up 45% off the tee, then it goes straight as shit. I call out, “fore” a lot.
