Back in the late 70’s early 80’s I spent a lot of time in the UK (West Midlands). If I could find a local equivalent of Bank’s Mild Ale, I would invest heavily at a retail level. :)))

Mild Ales, ordinary bitters, and other low octane English (and Belgian beers) are tough to come by in terms of bottled beers. There is a fantastic English pub in Denver called Hogshead Brewing that makes some of those styles and they are great. There was a combination brewery/smokehouse in San Francisco that I visited that also made some really delicious small beers.
