So since those are two places that will be the most underwater if we cross tipping points, you tell me? If you burn the fuel, you march towards the tipping point.. There is no way out of that.

“If you burn the fuel”? There is no question but that we are going to burn the fuel. The only way we will stop burning petroleum is when we actually run out of it.

The idea that we will stop using it out of altruism and concern for the future is a fantasy.
