I hope you’re right yma. But we set up a private charity for Vietnam Vets in NYC to help them find work
(according to the US Department of Labor, Vietnam Vets in NYC were SEVEN TIMES more likely to be unemployed than our non-veteran age peers). When it was over, the eight of us had found full time jobs for over 4,000 Vietnam Era Vets in NYC - a job the damn VA was supposed to be doing but didn’t.
We took care of each other over there and we did it again back here.
