It would be horribly stupid but I think it’s quite possible and even likely. Those kids in the street do not get to choose what happens. Those decisions are already being made by the Muslim Brotherhood. Who leads the interemin government. who’s allowed to run in future elections, etc. All of these decisions are already being made by the MB.

If that turns out to be the case then it wouldn’t be morally consistent. They would in the end only replace one form of tyranny for another. But it’s also not lost on me either that Mubarak and the National Democratic Party have already been making those decisions for the Egyptian people already for nearly 3 decades. It is up to the Egyptians to keep MB in check and prevent them from becoming the new tyrants.
