I thought it was “Jerry!, Jerry!, Jerry!”

When I was stationed at Ft. Ord, the conf. room next to our shop had a tv, and at lunch time we’d all run in there to eat and watch Jerry S. The great thing about that show is that no matter how messed up you thought your life was, you could watch that and think “I’m doing pretty damn good. Life’s ok!”.

I also love the time he got punked by the group of street performers from New Orleans. I was dating a girl down there at a time (the second ex), and it was the talk of the town. (The Springer story, not me dating a girl).
