Whatever initial appeal Walker had seems to have disappeared, oddly right along with his poll numbers in Wisconsin. And the Kochs seem to have cooled somewhat on his winning the nomination since he went on Glenn Beck’s show and started threatening their cash cows by suggesting we need to curb legal immigration. And like Havana Ted, he has virtually no crossover appeal to Democrats.

It’s a weird year. There’s simply nobody who can be nominated, yet somebody will be. Something truly insane could happen—but I don’t know what….
