The person who wrestled the gun away from the guy who shot Gabby Giffords is alive because the person rushing to help didn’t see the gun and shoot immediately.

The person rushing to help did slam the guy with the gun he had taken from the shooter against the wall. He’s very lucky to be alive. The guy who slammed him against the wall was ready to shoot and did not have the training, he only had the good sense not to shoot first.
