Doesn’t it have to be a majority of the votes, i.e. 218? Regardless of party?
Admittedly, seeing Nancy Smash back in the Speaker’s chair would be a rare treat indeed, given the House Republicans’ unfortunately huge majority - and the fact that they tend to view Democrats more-or-less like medievals dealt with lepers - that’s a vanishingly unlikely prospect*.

*For which mis-forecast I will be only TOO happy to apologize for!
