I just realized something: Y’all is a pronoun.
The etymology of Y’All/You All is fascinating. And apparently it is used in South African Indian English as well as in the Southern United States.
One of my favorite diplomatic phrases in Wiki is in their article on Y’all-
Wiki - Y’all
It is usually used as a plural second-person pronoun, but whether it is exclusively plural is a perennial subject of discussion.
