I don’t understand the need for these people to race bait. Why not go off on their pro-life stance alone. Why bring race into it?

1. Calling someone a racist is fighting words in this country. It’s an attack that is sure to get a response from PP, liberals, etc. It’s a bad, effective, smear.

2. It’s a distraction. If we’re talking about how liberals are hurting black people, we’re not talking about how the GOP is hurting women.

3. There is a never-ending hope in some Republican circles that stuff like this will get them more black voters.
