Shep Smith had one amazing moment and that was when he yelled at Hannity on camera during Katrina. Smith is from Mississippi so he probably had friends and family that were personally affected by the storm. He wasn’t in the mood to play along with Hannity that day.

Other than that, Shep Smith is ” the voice of reason” at Fox because they pay him to play the part. He’s just as much of a wingnut as the rest of them.

I remember that. His job seems to be to portray a newsman with a smidge of compassion, so the world will think that there’s actually someone working at Fox News who has a soul.
