Why is it that the far-right position is nearly always impossible to express without resorting to wildly dishonest analogies?

Basic healthcare is not equivalent to an exotic, multi-million-dollar sportscar. As much as they may like to think that birth control = slutz!!!1!!1!!, the basic medical fact is that there are reasons beyond the prevention of pregnancy for a woman to be on birth control medication. It’s hormonal regulation, which has other valid medical applications.

But then, it’s kind of like Georgiastan’s fight over Cannabis Oil right now. Could it be used for something the fundies don’t approve of? Yeah, but then so can crosses if you’re creative enough. The fact is that it’s a medication that is prescribed by physicians to treat illnesses, and that is far more important than whatever the skydad may have said about teh slutz and teh stonerz!!1!111!!1
