The period of close generations in my family is now over. My sister has no children; I have one son born when I was twenty-eight. The same goes for my cousins; their children were all born when they were in their late twenties or early thirties.

I have 9 kids. My sister (my only sibling) has 1. Her son is just one year older than my oldest grandkid (of which there are 42).
