“Big Government” sucks. You think you can grow the government and have less encroachment into our liberties? I doubt it. Ask yourself this, do you want a potential Jindal presidency to handle what we teach nationally in public schools? Or a Huccabbee making all decisions regarding abortion and rights for homosexuals? That is what I fear about big government. It’s all good until your side loses an election.

We’ve already had presidents trying to control what is taught in public schools - see Bush’s abstinence initiative. Gay rights have always been a fight - however, as the government has gotten bigger over time, gays have been securing more rights than ever.

People think “less government” = less corruption which is beyond foolish IMO, it’s the same establishment we’ve had for 200 years. For politicians, “less government” = less democracy, less oversight, less accountability to their voters.
