Brief:
Assange is alleged to have done video chats with the 8-year-old sister of a 22-year-old woman using an online dating site, toddandclare.com. During those chats, he allegedly performed sexual acts on camera and persuaded the 8-year-old to perform other acts on camera. Her parents reported all this on Sept. 28 to the Royal Bahamas Police, which confirmed the details of the online “grooming.”

The family involved were Canadians vacationing in the Bahamas. toddandclare.com is a US company, which had contracted with Assange to allow him to be an “ambassador” for an anti-rape project called KATIA. ToddandClare cancelled that contract on Sept. 28, and has filed a breach of contract suit in UK courts against Assange.

ToddandClare’s owners further claim that Wikileaks is now threatening the company and its employees online as a result of the lawsuit.
