Oh gosh, last week I ran across an artist from… can’t remember… Germany? His work was like Hieronymus Bosch and from around the same time. It was really, really icky-scary-awful stuff.

Just dropped back in to say I found the painting: Temptation of Saint Anthony by Matthias Grnewald. According to Wiikipedia, that was a popular theme. Several other artists painted it, including Bosch (at least twice—a triptych and a single panel). I’ll take Albrecht Drer over those guys. *shudder*

Going back to my hummus now…
