I hope all you Americans who steeped your kids in pop culture, television and movies for 3 generations are f***ing happy now!

Actually, I am, because my kids are 100% American. They love this country down to their bones, and one of them is currently serving in the military. Of course, my husband and I also taught them real history, not politically correct, smallpox-blanket lies. We made sure they read real American literature along side the comic books. And we talked, talked, talked about the messages pop culture sends and how they’ve changed over the years. Being literate in new media is an important skill.
