I’m not going to criticize your phrasing. I’ve been known to post some doozies! Being from the “no big tent” camp as we ought to have core principles in for which we stand “tolerance” puts me on edge. Perhaps because the left has bastardized the word. Don’t care if you are gay, but don’t force your lifestyle on me, don’t care if you are a creationist, but don’t force that on me, don’t care if you are religious, but don’t force it on me…does that make me intolerant?

by the way, the Republicans are having a time with the concept of “core principles” and are making very bad choices as to what those should be.
