Isn’t this all just posturing? First off, Paul was just re-elected so he doesn’t have to worry about being thrown out of office. Second of all, he knows that the Dems in the Senate will deep six any plan from the House, so when the House proposal fails, Paul can claim that it was he who stopped it, his constituents probably not knowing better.
