49er pat-downs challenged in court

The case that pits 49er fans’ right to privacy against the team’s efforts to provide strong security went before the State Supreme Court on Tuesday. It all began with two season ticket holders who objected to being frisked at the gate.

I would hold the two season ticket holds and the ACLU personally responsible if anyone was hurt with something brought in from the outside that security could have caught.

They search you when entering Yankee Stadium. Granted it is a pitiful search and you could sneak in a bazooka, but it’s the thought that counts?
