will doctors be able to opt out of the state run medical care plan or will the gov’t chain them to the system some how.
i have a friend (dr.) who threw off the medicad co-pay paper work shackles and just see patients for a flat fee. no matter how long it takes. he has never been happier and has a big following of people who adore him.
it would be great if doctors rebelled and refused to play the big brother game of medicine.

Won’t work. They’ll make it mandatory. The Clinton bill made it a criminal offense for a doctor to have a private pay patient. Medicare right now will not allow certain providers to opt out and set fees, rules, require electronic billing which requires computers, software, and electronic billing partners.
