So what does Steve think the divorce rate really is? Does he believe its higher because its “too easy” to get divorced and we need to go back to the “good ol’ days” when the only way out of a marriage with death? Surely he can’t believe its lower.

From some of the stuff I am finding online, it might be lower than 50%, but that might be more attributable to people waiting to get married and actually spending more time with someone before marrying, instead of getting married to someone at age 18 (or younger). The 50% figure also seems to date to when no-fault divorce laws were introduced which caused a spike in divorces at that time.

Of course, numbskull Crowder would, of course, be against a couple cohabitating before they got married.
