That does not make it OK to fuck a child, that makes Italian law wrong.

I’m not thrilled about 14 either (although I know at least three women who weren’t harmed…) but my point is about the expectations she grew up with.

Experience is SUPPOSED to warp us, for better or worse. I’m seriously sick of the apparent belief that we’re supposed to get through life untouched. In this case: really? A 17-year-old marred for life by sex with a 32-year old? Again, maybe it’s just my generation, but that’s hard for me to swallow.
